William Hogarth produced this fabulous image in 1761 shortly after the Coronation of King George III. Not only does it lampoon the contemporary practice of wearing extravagant wigs, but also the fashion for classical architecture. The wigs are divided into five orders, just as classical architecture is divided into five orders. This is a blank A5 (148 x 210mm) greetings card printed on 350gsm card stock and comes complete with an ivory envelope.
