Where else can you get crazy, unique, hand-printed medieval cards other than the Guild of Theophilus? Nowhere. This illustration on this card is based on a woodcut printed in the Hortus Sanitatis (The Garden of Health) first published by Jacob Meydenbach in Mainz in 1491.
The card is hand-printed in our studio and then, because we are a little bit crazy too, we hand-colour them using earth pigments just as they would have done in the middle ages.
The boring bit. This blank greetings card hand-printed on a high-quality 270gsm card; it measures 148x105mm and comes complete with a matching ivpry envelope.
