This card shows the five wounds of Christ. It was first printed as a holy card with an attached indulgence in 1495 and was circulated by the Carthusian monks of Sheen, although it may have been printed by Caxton's assistant Wynkyn de Worde.
This is a blank letterpress card, hand-printed on a 270gsm Colorplan card stock. 148x105mm. Comes complete with matching envelope.
