With this blank journal you can write down your notes, musing and jottings in full period style. This volume has been bound in leather using traditional hand binding techniques and is decorated in a style that was common in England the period 1690-1730. The surface of the vegetable dyed leather has been sprinkled with different grades of iron gall ink to create panels that are then blind tooled. A red patch label has been applied to the spine.
The block of the book is made from a lovely smooth, white laid paper called Zerkall Ingres and is a beautiful writing surface. The block has been finished with silk endbands and the edges sprinkled.
