Who doesn't love bunnies, particularly early 16th-century bunnies. This image is the print mark of a Parisian printer, Simon de Colines (1480-1546) one of the greatest typographers, printers and publishers of the Renaissance. These particular rabbits holding a shield hanging from a tree are found in a publication from his press dating from 1526.
